NEW SAAB TURBO HAS BEEN WIDELY TESTED

ORANGE, CONNECTICUT — The new Saab Turbo, which will be available through Saab dealers throughout the U.S. by early February, has been tested through some 2 million miles of driving, in most varying conditions and by drivers ranging from everyday commuters to professional race drivers. The new Saab utilizes a turbo charger, combined with the regular Saab two-liter overhead camshaft engine, to provide six-cylinder performance in a four-cylinder car with four-cylinder fuel economy. In addition, the Saab Turbo is equipped with the revolutionary Lambda Guard emissions control system with a three-way catalyst, for clean exhaust emissions without penalties in either performance or fuel economy.
