SAAB TURBO OFFERS NEW DESIGN FEATURES

ORANGE, CONNECTICUT — The new Saab Turbo, available by early February through some 310 Saab dealers throughout the United States, will easily be distinguishable from other 1978 Saab models thanks to its advanced design aluminum alloy wheels and the front air dam and rear deck spoiler.

The Saab Turbo for 1978 is available in the now well-known and widely copied Saab three-door version. With its wide rear lift-up rear hatch and fold-down rear seat, the Saab Turbo has plenty of room for five people in the car or for large and bulky loads. The Saab Turbo develops 135 horsepower (SAE net) and maximum torque of 160 ft. lbs.
