NEW SAAB INTERIOR FOR 1981

A new interior design, with plush velour upholstery, is one of the many innovations in the l9Bl Swedish Saab models. The new rear seats and back rests in the Saab 900 line for l98l incorporate five times as many coil springs as previously, making the seat thinner but still more comfortable. The 9005 and
Turbo lines of Saabs also offer electrically heated front driver and passenger seats as standard equipment. The seats incorporate electrical heating elements in seat pad and lower back rests, which are automatically thermostat controlled to go on when the ignition is turned on and the temperature in the seats is below 57°F. when the seat temperature reaches 82°F, the heating elements are automatically turned off. Another special comfort feature, and a special boon for allergy sufferers, is the exclusive Saab passenger air filter on non-air conditioned cars, which screens out from the passenger air all particles larger than 0.002 mn, oil, soot, and pollen.

The entire l98l Saab line of cars will go on sale around November l5 at about 315 Saab dealerships nationally.
