SAAB SELECTS NORCROSS, GEORGIA FOR HEADQUARTERS SITE

ORANGE, Conn. — Having previously announced plans to relocate its U.S. headquarters operation from Orange, Connecticut to the Atlanta, Georgia—area, today

Saab Cars USA, Inc. selected its new headquarters site, as follows:

The Swedish automaker will be operational ln its new headquarters facility, commencing April, 1992.

Norcross, Georgia is a northeastern suburb of Atlanta, and is known as one of the fastest growing communities in the United States.

Saab’s new headquarters facility is a 50,000 square-foot structure, atop one of Gwinnett county’s highest elevations. Gxvinriett Summit is managed by A. R. Weeks & Associates, and is situated only seven miles from the-285 perimeter; one half mile away from I-85.

The Georgia Department of lndustry, Trade, and Tourism, the Atlanta chamber of Commerce, and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, assisted Saab with its new headquarters search.
