1998 was the last year the 9000 was produced. The ’97 Anniversary special edition was continued. 1400 9000s were built in 1998, of which 400 went to USA-market. The ‘aero’ rims for model year 1998 were different from the earlier types (with lognut caps). The 98-rims did not have lognuet caps, as you state.

There are some things not right on this text. My CSE Anniv. has black leather seats. It is also equiped with a low pressure turbo that produces 170hp. It says that it has harman/kardon sound system but I think that it is a Clarion. The wheels are 15 inch, 8 spoke, not superaeros. Perhaps the mentioned specs are for the american market…

I have a 97 anniversary. Wheels are 15 inch 8 spoke, and wooden steering wheel. 98 has 16inch super aero wheels and no wooden steering wheel. I live in the UK and am talking about UK market cars.
    Logbook says 9000 anniversary.
    Hope this helps

Oh, I forgot to say, stereo is Clarion, and black seats with suede insets were a colour available in the UK usually on a silver coloured car.
