20 Years of the Saab Convertible

Posted on 01. Nov, 2006 by in 1980-1989, 900

As many of you know, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the Saab Convertible! For me, today marks the arrival of the first Saab 900 convertible made by a company, now defunct, called Somerville who manufactured probably the best representation of the classic Saab 900 convertible. Enjoy the photo! One more to add to the archive!

A great model – well built as are all SAAB’s and the Somerville range.

I wonder how many of these models were made as I have only seen the one on eBay ?

and is the Somerville better than the 1/18th scale Anson model I wonder ?

agree that the real thing is best though !
