For immediate release:
I recently have heard that Peter Gilbert, the Saab Enthusiast that has recently donated his 1989 Saab 900 SPG to automotive museum in Hartford, Wisconsin has done a Podcast on Sunday, December 11th.
Here are the details.
MILLION-MILE SAAB Duration: 00:06:05
When do you think you would begin to consider your car bad luck? After you hit a deer? How about the second time you hit a deer? The third time? What about the fourth time? Or would you be so stubborn as to wait for the fifth time?
Well, Peter Gilbert is either a man who had a profound fondness for his car — or a man with a very unusual sense of what constitutes “bad luck”. Or both. He drove his 1989 Saab 900 SPG for seventeen years. He drove it despite its impact on wildlife — or rather, its repeated impacts on wildlife. And he drove it for one million miles.
Not long ago, Mr. Gilbert donated his well-travelled Saab to the Wisconsin Automotive Museum. So, to find out what drove him for so long to drive his car for so long, we thought we’d give him a call at home, in Glendale, Wisconsin.
