Scary that I once owned a 1997 Saab 900 and spent a lot of time between 2002 and earlier this year either riding in or driving a 1995 900. The 9-5 and 9-3SS are superior cars.

Take a look at this recent video. I find the safety in the new generation Saab 900 dependant upon what type of accident you encounter such as the High speed offset front-end crash or a run-in with a Moose.
