Saab Factory Tour – Register Online

The Saab Factory in Trollhättan now has registration available online for tours during the Saab Festival, so please register your spot with your friends and colleagues for this once and a lifetime opportunity to see exactly how the Saab Automobiles are manufactured on either Thursday or Friday.

Here is some information about the tour this year from the Saab Festival website:

See the Saab Factory in Trollhättan from the inside
Saab Automobile is offering factory tours during the Anniversary Festival 2007. Tours are free of charge and the minimum age for children is 10 years

Tours are given at the following times during Thursday and Friday.
Thursday 7 of June:
11:00 – English spoken
13:00 – English spoken
14:00 – English spoken

Fredag 8 juni:
10:00 – Swedish spoken
11:00 – English spoken
13:00 – English spoken

Tours take approx. 50 minutes and includes a presentation of the company Saab Automobile followed by a tour by train thru the final assembly line.

Thursday the 7th of June and Friday the 8th of June is however production free days in the factory, which means that the line will stand still and the personel will have the day off. This is done as compensation for already worked hours and is done during in connection with the 6th of June which is Swedens National Day. That way the employees will get a longer holiday and the opportunity do participate in the Anniversary Festival.

Maximum number of people on each tour is 48, and tours tend to fill up rather quick, so don’t wait to book.
