ANA Trollhättan makes special cars such as the Saab 9-5 SportCombi Special Bilar that was mentioned on the ANA Dealership post as well as featuring the 9-5 polis car in film at the Kinnekule Racetrack post recently.

The following information below is quoted directly from the ANA Trollhättan dealership on their exclusive arrangement to build and service the special 9-5 polis cars.

* ANA Special Vehicles delivers more than 200 Saabs in different special editions every year

* Customers are primarily the Swedish Police Force and Customs, but the Rescue Service and Correctional system also drives Saab.

* These cars are developed in a cooperative between Saab Automobile and ANA Special Vehicles

* The cars come with only a few factory preparations such as better brakes and chassie from Saab Automobile

* The special equipment fitted in a police car weighs approximately 170kg.

* Fitting of special equipment in blue and white police cars takes approximately 50 hours.

* A single person is responsible for all installations on every cars, paint job and striping.

* ANA special vehicles employes 17 people today

* The cost of a Saab Police Car varies between 250,000 SEK to 600,000 SEK depending on equipment level.

* Some police cars are driven up to 10,000 km/month

* Normal lifespan on a police car is approximately 300,000 km

* Cars are delivered with standard engines of 150-250 hp.
