The 2007 Saab Owners Convention is just 37 days away.

The 2007 Saab Owners Convention is just 37 days away from us now and with that in mind, it is a good time for another reminder. The Saab Club of North America and the Great Lakes Saab Club are proud to host this years 25th Annual Saab Owners Convention. The Saab Owners Convention or “SOC” will be taking place in Troy, Michigan between August 23rd and the 26th, 2007.

It has been mentioned that the expected attendance is well over 1000 Saab owners and Enthusiasts from from North America and abroad will be participating in this truly incredible event. This 25th year of the Saab Owners Convention will have a strong emphasis on the Saab heritage because 2007 marks the the 60th anniversary of Saab Automobile.

Some of the convention highlights include confirmed guests such as rally legend, Erik Carlsson, Saab Museum curator Peter Backström. In addition, current Saab Automobile USA President, Steve Shannon will be unveiling a new 2008 production model Saab. You can also expect an expanded Saab Automobile USA Heritage Collection to be on display throughout the convention.

There will even be an autocross as well as a dyno to really test both the performance and real world capabilities of your Saab!

Don’t forget, the track event is dependent on 35 paid attendees by August 10th or it will be canceled.
