As an owner of a 2006 9-3 I can tell you that the safety rating of the car is because the car is never on the road! It remains parked at the Dealer for repairs and has since the day I drove it off the lot! Yes, a huge portion of the miles registered on the vehicle are a result of over 12 trips to the dealor. Saab is a stand up company. When I complained to them and asked them to buy the car back; the reponse, “We will cover any issues under warranty”. Never mind the inconvenience or stress from loose control arms, or the “pull over call dealor power lock failure” problems plus too many others to comment on. I would walk before I purchased another Saab!
