Here are four television spots done by Angotti, Thomas & Hedge for Saab Cars, USA, Inc. in 1995 and 1996.

I would be interested in hearing your reactions to these spots as I understand that they ran from 1995 even past 1996 into 1997 when the campaign came to an end. I hope that the former owners of the advertising agency can shed some light as to why this campaign did come to an end.

Enjoy the films in the meantime.

Those ads encompass everything that was so cool about the 90’s. Between the arty animations, the intelligent, rational sounding narrator and the message of doing your own thing embody everything that Saab should stand for. Instead of trying to lure in the “maxim” crowd with silly tag lines like “born from jets”, Saab should instead push the image that has helped sell so many cars up here in the northeast. The jazzy music is just the icing on the cake.
