Peter Gilbert’s New Saab 9-5 Aero

Peter Gilbert, notable for his million-mile Saab 900 SPG that hit the 1,000,000 mile mark which read “000,000″ on the odometer during the 2006 Saab Owners Convention in Lake George, New York has just provided Saab History a photo taken back in March as well as some recent information describing his ownership over the past year with his beautiful Saab 9-5 Aero SportCombi.

Here is a brief update as to what has taken place and how he is feeling since receiving the “free” Saab 9-5 Aero from Jay Spenchian, former President of Saab Automobile USA after reaching the million miles in that 1989 SPG.

I just had the 30K service, and all I have done, since I received the car, are oil changes, and tire rotations; the car is flawless. Since the track day, it is much faster, because the computer adjusted, and the transmission is even smoother.
