Saab 9-2x Spotted on “The Office”

On “The Office” last night night, I happened to spot a Saab 9-2x driven by Jim heading towards his colleague, Dwight Schrute’s beet farm. I find the continued placement of the Saab 9-2x interesting and wonder if Saab had any say in promoting this on NBC when it made its first debut a few years ago.

    I don’t think there is any deal between NBC and Saab here. Saab has already made a point to forget the 9-2X ever existed. Most likely, someone on the show has an interest in the car, or they just happened to pick it up cheap, like most other 9-2X drivers.

    I think NBC actually has a pretty firm deal set up with Nissan for such product placements. The Nissan Rogue was featured throughout Fall premier week, most predominantly on Heroes. Heroes also featured a Nissan Versa last season.
