Here are some updated photos as a follow-up to the previous posting on the 1985 SPG that is being restored by Saab Automobile AB for the the Boston Auto Show where it will be situated alongside the Turbo-X.

If you compare the photos posted here back on October 22nd, nearly 3 weeks later, the results in progress are quite incredible! They even went ahead and include the vent cover accessories that were not standard, on that SPG. In addition to the painted vent covers, they even have the original owners manual and case that they go in. A nice touch I must say!

I also look forward to seeing the front end, specifically the SPG side skirts in how they managed to install and integrate them into the restoration.

I recall personally installing the SPG skirts, granted for the newer body style on my 1987 900 as a nice addition and they were extremely difficult to do even with help. I hope they got it right with the different looking 1985-1986 SPG skirts which are an entirely different breed of side skirt as exhibited here on the history of the SPG.
