At the recent 2007 Boston Auto Show, I had the great opportunity to interview the current President of Saab Automobile USA, Steve Shannon.

Steve Shannon has been with Saab Automobile since April of this year. Over the course of the year many have had the opportunity to meet him in person at the 2007 Saab Owners Convention in Troy, Michigan in June, again for some of us at the 2007 Saab 9-3 Media event here in Washington, D.C. and most recently at the 2007 Swedish Car Day in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Steve Shannon, a native to the Boston, Massachusetts region understood the impact that Saab has had in that region and realized that the Boston Auto Show was the most appropriate venue for the Turbo-X North American premiere introducing Cross-Wheel Drive (XWD) given the applicability of this technology to the region’s climate.
