Steve Shannon, President of Saab Automobile USA was on hand during the 2008 NAIAS at the Saab stand to entertain an interview by Saab History. I am glad that he was able to share his time and insight into Saab’s future, specifically in the United States market.

One of the most interesting pieces of information I think is worth mentioning from this interview is that the new Saab 9-5 appears to be taking on design characteristics of both the Saab Aero-X concept as well as the Saab 9-4x BioPower Concept, so this means that the new 9-5 design will be quite unique, but also very connected to other models in the Saab brand. This consistency should certainly help refine and bring more clarity to Saab’s image in the decade ahead.
