After the recent Geneva Motor Show, I have been showcasing press material, photographs, videos and even reviews here on Saab History. A lot of this material that we have seen including material we have yet to see, has been provided to us thanks to Saab History’s first European correspondent.

The Geneva Auto Show, was the first time that I had the an opportunity to provide a press pass to someone to act as a correspondent for Saab History in my absense, and that someone is none other than a long-time devoted Saab Enthusiast by the name of Etienne. Etienne is from Belgium and outside of covering an event like this, he is the web master of both a blog as well as a forum that fall under the Saabhuy.net website domain that do a tremendous job of covering the Belgium Saab scene.

Etienne was the first individual who took the initiative to e-mail me a number of weeks ago stating that he would be interested in being present at the Geneva Auto Show which, as we recently found out, was the venue for the Saab 9-X BioHybrid’s launch.

Etienne’s volunteered initiative, meant that he’d have to travel nearly 500 miles to get to Geneva from Belgium. This devotion to the Saab brand, and the Saab community is commendable. I understand that this trip was worth it to him, as I believe we have really enjoyed his material so far. In the coming week, I will be receiving more information from him such as additional photos including a number of on camera interviews of Saab personalities as depicted in the photograph above!

A thank you goes to Etienne for providing us great coverage of the Saab 9-X BioHybrid Launch at the Geneva Motor Show this week.
