Saab Automobile’s Real Life XWD Test Drive Opportunities

As a follow-up to both my review of the Saab 9-3 Turbo-X and my post about Cross-Wheel Drive opportunities, Saab Automobile’s halo vehicle for XWD technology, I need to make the following suggestions to Saab Automobile USA.

You and your dealership network both need to create critical opportunities for the media to test drive cross-wheel drive in the North East region of the United States in adequantly inclimate terrain in order to maximize the, credibility, viability and visibility of this long-awaited and much anticipated technology.

I have decided to dig through the Saab History video archive where I have located two videos that may help you visualize what a test drive opportunity in “real” snow on “real” roads may look like in the winter season.

While these videos are both advertisements from both 1988 and 2004, respectively, they could do good job in contextualizing what cross-wheel drive can do for the consumer. Furthermore, I truly believe that the media needs to be here test driving cross-wheel drive Saabs, in this type of fashion.

I hope that this arrangement is considered, taken seriously and looked into even in concert with other opportunities with ski resorts as well.
