The Saab Automobile Product Designations Of The Future

I was doing some investigation lately on what Saab has slated for future production models and apparently there have been a number of vehicles in the works since the following designations were purchased through Saab Automobile AB’s European legal counsel, Groth & Co

As you look at the model designations below, please keep in mind that GM shelved a number of these projects just after the designations were acquired for future research & development in 2002.

I have gone ahead and removed the designations that we have already seen produced, such as the Saab 9-2x, 9-3, 9-4x, 9-5 and 9-7x, leaving the projects that may still see production. Please keep in mind that the Saab 9-6x was cancelled when the Fuji-Heavy collaboration with GM ended a back in 2006, yet the 9-6 designation is different so it remains.

It appears that finally, some of these models are now starting to see the light and GM is realizing that they should have never stopped the development process on these products such as the 9-4, new 9-5 and a 9-1 somewhere in 2010 from what I hear.

This leaves us wondering when the remaining designations will show up and what they will look like. Any ideas?
