Saab Sighting Of The Week – Turbo-X SportCombi In Maine

This past Friday, I noticed a beautiful 2008 Saab 9-3 Turbo-X SportCombi on Interstate 95 North with Massachusetts plates bought from Saab History site sponsor, Herb Chambers of Boston.

Interestly enough, Herb Chamber of Boston hosted the Saab 9-3 Turbo-X test drive took place this past May that I participated in, so it’s probably no surprise that when one sees any limited edition Turbo-X models in New England, the majority of them must be from Herb Chambers due to exposure and the inventory they had.

Ironically enough, I met up with my colleague from Herb Chambers Saab at the recent Swedish Car Day 9 in Brookline, Massachusetts who indicates that he even knows about the owner of this Turbo-X!

As I headed off of the highway, I could not help but notice that they were continuing on in the direction of, Freeport, Maine, home of L.L. Bean.

What a great Saab Sighting of the Week, thanks to always having my camera available at all times!
