Saab History site sponsor, New Salem Saab of Albany, New York celebrates their claim to being the oldest continually family owned and operated exclusive Saab dealership in the North East for almost 5 decades.
New Salem Saab began as a Saab dealership on March 3rd, 1961 and has been selling nothing but Saabs, beginning with their first sale of a SAAB 95 wagon as illustrated above.

Ryan: Just a note, While I congratulate New Salem on their accomplishments, they are not the oldest family owned exclusive SAAB dealer.We got our SAAB francise on April 1, 1959 and have been selling and servicing SAAB’s ever since. I don’t know who the oldest family owned dealer is (good research project) but we will be celebrating our 50th year with SAAB this April. Thanks…Ron Collins President Trio Motors, Inc.
