Saab Automobile USA’s New 9-3 Sport Sedan XWD TV Ad

There have been a few people telling me lately that Saab Automobile USA’s New 9-3 Sport Sedan XWD TV Ad titled “Saab XWD“, is now being aired nationally.

This was the ad above that was first shown to a small audience back on Sunday morning at the 2008 Saab Owners Convention in Devens, Massachusetts.

I have contacted the new ad agency that created this film, McCann Erickson this past Friday in order to get a higher quality version, so I’ll give them until the end of the week and see what they say.

This ad is the second in a series of three, that were filmed near Freezeout lake in Montana, the first titled “Recycle”.

I am expecting the third, although there have been no mentions of what it would include or consist of, but I see it as being a Saab 9-3 SportCombi XWD actually in the snow, much like the 9-2x launch back in 2004.

    Just noticed the other day that the movie “The Family Stone” features a Saab 9-5 pretty heavily. I believe it is a 2005 model. If you haven’t seen it, check it out!

    OMG! I saw this commercial from the corners of my eyes the other day and the song in here is just wow! I’ve been doing crazy research and with no luck. If anyone finds the info plz post it here thanks.

    Interesting. I will let you know if I come across the background music name, perhaps it was created just for the ad? I am unsure, but will keep my ears open.
