In the 1970’s, the Saab-Scania of America team seemed to really have some momentum going for them after the inception of the game changing Saab 99 Turbo.

The photo above illustrates how this team formerly located at 60 Marsh Hill Road Orange, Connecticut was a strong family, with this promotional photo taken sometime in the late 1970’s under the leadership of Jonas C:Son Kjellberg.

A thanks to Shaw Saab for the photo as part of the recent visit to the dealership.

I’d like to add a little more information to the posting of this “Saab Family” photograph. My recollection is that not only are our fists in the air because of the Turbo being presented but the theme to the newly released Rocky movie was part of an advertising promo just developed for Saab Scania. Some of us began humming the music daily.

So where are my old Saab family members? I’m in Denver and have been for the last 24 years.

    Lavona,

    Wow! Thank you!

Perhaps there will be another one of these that took place in 2005 in Connecticut?
