I believe Subaru made changes to the Tribeca after it posted weak sales upon initial launch. Subaru made changes to the vehicle when they launched the B9, in particular the A pillar forward, that were taken from Saab's designs for the 9-6X. The United States Patent/Trademark laws are based on first to come up with the idea instead of first to file. Since Saab, generated the designs well in advance of Subaru taking them for their own use, perhaps they are preparing for an intellectual property case against Fuji and getting rightfully owed royalties.
