The Saab 9-3x Cross Combi that we saw spy photos of this past last November, will be officially launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March, says Saab Automobile President, Jan-Ã…ke Jonsson.

Evidently, the Saab 9-3x Cross Combi will be available at Saab dealerships globally in June! It’s about time a new product, or at least a new spin on an existing product, is being offered for prospective customers at Saab dealership showrooms!

Interestingly enough, this will be about the same time, Saab Automobile will need to have a new owner in place according to GM.

A “new” product launch at the same time Saab Automobile secures a new buyer, what a month this could be!

I think the 9-3 X has great potential. Perhaps it could be offered with a limited slip differential for the front wheels. This was an aftermarket option for the 99, I believe, and would offer enough traction for most drivers while probably yielding better mileage than the XWD version and also setting it apart from other FWD cars.
