The Next Generation Saab 9-5 May Be Built In Trollhättan, according to Trollhättan, Sweden’s TTELA newspaper.

TTELA indicates that as part of the Swedish Government’s funding requirements, it needs Saab to commit to as many jobs as possible for Swede’s in their home land. So, in possibly transitioning the 9-5 to being manufactured in Sweden, as well as the next generation 9-3 convertible which, currently, is produced in Austria, will meet this requirement.

This will be great, continuing the Swedish designed, engineered and produced vehicles in their homeland, the way basically everyone except for GM, wants it to be.
