These wheels, after switching to the winter steel wheels on the 1997 Saab 9000 CS, have been identifed as bent, the gloss removed, tons of noticeable curb rash as you see above, and in need of full straightening and reconditioning inside and out.

This time around, I will be receiving results identical to those on the 1992 900 Turbo, thanks to Viking Wheel Service in Wilmington, Delaware.

Viking Wheel Service, located in the same facility as Sports Car Service, maintain a Saab friendly and knowledgeable service for any and all Saab wheels.

These particular wheels, are basically identical to the previous directional aero wheels, except that instead of being 5 1/2″ wide for the 900, they are 6″ wide due to the fact they are for the Saab 9000.

I am sure that the results of Viking Wheel Service’s work, will once again yield a significantly safer and comfortable driving experience in comparison to what it was last summer and fall after purchasing the car.

If you find yourself looking to ensure a safer and nicer drive due to damaged wheels on your Saab, now is the time to send those wheels to Viking Wheel Service before the summer, and make sure to tell them that Saab History sent you!
