Saab History Wants Your Thoughts On Saab “Spy” Photos

If you have been following the coverage recently of spy photos including the 9-3x Cross-Combi, next generation Saab 9-5 and finally the 9-4x, have you wondered if these are actual “spy” photos?

The reason I ask is that these photos are all coming out at the same time although I know they are all winter testing now, however, multiple news agencies are showing the “exact” same photos they claim to have taken themselves. Furthermore, every face and license plate is blurred using similiar techniques. While professional photographers are probably all well versed in Adobe Photoshop, they all seem to showing the same identical images down to the very pixel. Another obvious example is involves the 9-4x that just “happened” to have the window down during the winter, and we got to see an exposed interior? Coincidence? I think not.

I dare to say that these photos are actually part of a campaign from Saab Automobile AB to show progress by, what do you think?

I’ve posted a poll below to see if you are skeptical as well or truly believe there are actual spy photos. I just can’t really believe that there are professional photographers flying all the way up to Kiruna, Sweden, planning, then hanging out in the freezing cold for hours in the wet snow, holding their camera waiting and hoping just for that opportunity to take “spy” photos like the papparazzi would.
