Sweden’s Dagens Nyheter Show Four Options For Saab

Sweden’s Dagens Nyheter (daily news) has just shown four options for Saab Automobile. While the graphic are in Swedish, I’ve been able to break down the four major options in English for us here.
Since neither General Motors nor the Swedish Government want to “own” Saab, Saab Automobile is kind of in the middle here unfortunately.
1) Reconstruction (Reorganization)
2) Bankruptcy
3) Liquidation
4) A Sale
While these four options are possible, with the 1st option (reoganization) already being investigated as of the meeting today, I think there are others.
The fifth option is that Saab Automobile AB, manages to work with General Motors Europe and break off from General Motors altogether, along with Opel & Vauxhall as a separate business altogether.
Tomorrow is another day, so we’ll see what becomes of it unless any other news comes between now and then that is credible and/or plausible.
