Saab History has received the wheels sent back in January in pristine condition from Viking Wheel Service in Wilmington, Delaware this week as shown in my photo collage above.
These wheels, for the Saab 9000, originally had massive curb damage and even some cracks as they discovered in their careful examination of the wheels. I am happy to say that these wheels although in 6″ width opposed to the 5.5″ width of the 900 wheels also reconditioned (straightened and refinished), are absolutely incredible.
I am looking forward to a long forecast of no snow (hence no more salt on the roads), so that I can mount some nice all-season tires (Spring/Summer/Fall only) and enjoy them!
A sincere thank you goes to Viking Wheel Services for doing yet again, another incredible job, maintaining the original color, quality and durability of these wheels effectively “recycling” them without having to buy new for me and my wife to enjoy for many years ahead!
