Saab History Wants An Announcement On Saab Buyer

Posted on 09. Jun, 2009 by in 2000-2009

Since the announcement was made in December, abruptly by General Motors that Saab Automobile will be pursuing an independent path, there has been a long and trying length of time that has passed due to the reconstruction and separation process.

Although the outcomes from this process are expected to ultimately receive substantially more positive results for Saab Automobile, I never once thought how cognitively draining the process would be at a professional and personal level for me, no matter how much driving I do in either the Saab 900 or the 9000.

As we all know, the folks at Saab Automobile, the people of Trollhättan, Sweden that have high hopes, the dealership network that continue to fight the good fight, and the global community of owners and enthusiasts all have been patiently waiting a long time now and are just holding on awaiting the news.

While we all can respect the process and want the best thinking and time frames to ensure the most optimal result, we’re all growing a bit tired. Since that original announcement, all of us somehow continue to try to keep the enthusiasm and drum roll beating..but it should be known, we can’t keep expecting all of us, from the dealerships, to the owners, enthusiasts to these websites to continue to just hang in there indefinitely.

It is my hope that a conclusion of this reconstruction process takes place soon and a legitimate buyer announced according to the time line.
