The press is now reporting it was the device itself, not the car.

It would have been nice to hear that directly from Saab Automobile AB themselves here on Saab History however, to set the record straight.

Nice to see the structure of the active headrest system. Never new it was also on the backseats in a 9-3.

An iPod? Just how hot must a device get to ignite the seats’ material? I don’t believe this to be correct. These materials must be flame-retarding. That’s really weird. To me, looks more like vandalism.

I hardly ever listen to music, and I don’t do i-pods, but talk-radio can be hazardous to you health, as well. Before I drove the SPG everyday. I owned a 1985 900 Turbo, when one day I was Rear ended by a 5000 lb 1973 Chevy Caprise at 65 mph. My rear wheel locked-up, and I spun around and flew down the road for 300ft. As I went backwards, I thought I was a camera, on a F-18 taking off from a carrier!

The radio blew out of the dash, right in the middle of the Rush Limbaugh Show, hitting me you know where!
