TTELA reports on the two remaining options for Saab Automobile between now and next Tuesday.

If there is Koenigsegg Group, and only Koenigsegg Group, which is loaded to the deal did not go without a hitch, remains to be seen. There have been so many parties involved in this process that we can only speculate, and perhaps the next few days will reveal more about the game behind.
As to the question on everyone’s mind today. What happens now? What can save Saab?
Location is certainly dark, the odds have deteriorated dramatically and there is a nervous anticipation of GM’s statement next week for Saab employees and the entire Trollhättan.
One can imagine two ways to save Saab.
One is that the GM switch tracks and work on with another one of spring’s hottest stakeholders. The tanks are then closest to Beijing Automotive, which is already in the process because it was supposed to be a minority shareholder.
But you should know that much time has already been lost and the question we ask is if GM really wants to add more power to sell Saab.
The second track is that GM keeps Saab.
What speaks against it is understood that the GM over the years by failing to raise Saab. Now would be facing a long uphill battle to win back market confidence.
One can also draw parallels to the car brand Saturn, which earlier this fall was hit by exactly the same shock indicate that Saab is now done. Saturn is waiting for closure.
However, there are indeed some factors which suggest that GM would invest further in Saab. …
When GM decided to get rid of Saab, it was a decision made by the knife against her throat, when GM was on the verge of bankruptcy.
Since then, GM’s economy clearly has improved – and the question is whether it leaves room to think about.
The tanks can be understood to Opel affair, where GM stopped selling the last minute.
On the plus side, Saab has to be able to show a some ways a better financial situation now. The company is debt free, it is trimmed, it has been working with its lending process and have its business plan with complete new car.
Furthermore, it is still woefully expensive for GM to take all costs to close Saab.
These are the last resort that Saab may now try to cling to.

I can’t say that GM keeping Saab would be the worst thing with three great new products waiting in the wings…it is the richest product offering Saab has ever had in its life. GM could actually make money – our US taxpayer money – back on its designs rather than flush it down the toilet. Would that be so bad?
