Spyker Cars have been noticed visiting Saab Automobile’s headquarters in Trollhattan Sweden yesterday, according to TTELA.

It looks like the group from Spyker were getting a tour of the facilities while meeting with Saab Automobile leadership including Jörgen Nylén who drove them in a Saab 9-3x

I am really hoping that Spyker cars can seal the deal and fast.

Spyker cars visited Saab

TROLLHÄTTAN Here is picture proof that the Dutch Spyker Cars is one of the stakeholders who are still in the picture to buy Saab. Yesterday, the company was on a visit to Trollhattan to take a closer look at Saab.

It has been speculated frequently in recent days about the stakeholders who is still in discussions to buy Saab, and which ones have fallen away.

Koenigsegg Group’s defection opened for new entrants. Such is the Dutch sports car manufacturer Spyker Cars, which in early December came in as a new hot candidate to take over Saab.

As TTELA said last week, Spyker has confirmed on its website that its major shareholder Convers Group in the back, negotiating with GM to buy Saab.

And Spyker Cars is demonstrably still under discussion. For last Tuesday, while the Enterprise and Energy Maud Olofsson (C) and Minister for Employment, Sven Otto Littorin (M) held a press conference in City Hall Trollhättan, were representatives from Spyker Cars arrive at the Saab Car Museum in conjunction with representatives from Saab’s leadership.

One of them was Hans Go, Controller and Board of Spyker, who stepped out of a car driven by Jörgen Nylen. Probably got Spyker Cars is the same review of Saab as a dozen other stakeholders, including the Koenigsegg Group, received last spring.

I am really glad that SAAB is still going to exist. I drive two SAAB 900 Classics and aim to buy more on my fleet. The reason why the SAAB Classics over any other make or car? Easy. THe 900 Classic is far more secure, safe and built like a tank. When you move goods around in the thousands of pounds mark and ship high security goods, you need a car that is far above the rest. And far above the safety and security of all vans! I am affraid The General Motors SAABs are not as good or as strong as the cars in the past. And thats why they havnt really made a profit. The older SAAB`s were querky and you either loved them or hated them, but they made a profit and were great cars. None ABS made sure they stopped quicker than cars that did. Bumpers that took upto a 40 mph shunt before the rest of the crumple zones cut in Made for cheeper insurance. Simple engines and controls. Easy to maintain and get parts. Infact the best family car around by miles. Would have been nice to see a T top model in the range tho? But if Spyker has any plans to make SAAB an instant hit. Just look at the past and ask the people who made SAAB what it was to put our views forward. To continue with the 93 and 95 range would be proodent for a short while, but then Spyker has to look back and see just how supireor the SAAB 900 Classic is over the 93 and the 95. So any firther designs should be based on the older 900 range and keep the rubber bumpers and get rid or ABS, or put a switch in so we can turn it off. But i do think it will be a mistake going forward with the 93 or 85 platforms. But thats my view. I would not buy one any way. I hope you think on this and would love to hear any opinions you have?
