Saab Electric Car Project Press Conference Tomorrow

Saab History has recently learned that there is a press conference scheduled for tomorrow regarding the “True Electric” Saab project.

The players in the project are Saab Automobile AB, Innovatum, PowerCircle, Boston Power & Electro Engine.

The details for the project will be forthcoming but here are some brief facts as previously mentioned:

* Saab Automobile set up with over 100 Saab 9-3-cars.

* Electro Engine stands for power electronics, electric machinery and battery system.

* Boston Power is introducing its new lithium-ion battery Swing in ZE-Saab. If everything goes the way the Boston Power to launch a battery factory in Sweden.

* Power Circle, which is the electrical power industry association, is having to build a test organization for the demo cars.

* The project is led by Innovatum technology parks in Trollhättan with Lillemor Lindberg as project coordinator.
