Saab History will be traveling to Detroit to join up with the others in the “SAVE SAAB” campaign, thanks to Cold Brook Saab in Skowhegan, Maine. You may recognize them from earlier, as they are the Saab dealer that have the 10-year partnership with Shipyard Brewing Company here in Portland, Maine.
The purpose of the “SAVE SAAB” campaign is to gather nearby the GM world headquarters at approximately 1pm to show unwavering Saab spirit. The Saab owners and enthusiasts traveling (some great distances) in short notice, will be lining up their Saab cars in the parking lot, holding signs, taking group photographs and speaking to the press about important it is to sell Saab.
I have said it before and I will say it again, I cannot see a future without Saab and if there are enough Saab owners, enthusiasts parked outside of the GM Renaissance center in Detroit along with good media coverage, we could really show them how serious we are in wanting Saab Automobile to be sold so that it will have a bright future.

My wife and I plan to be there, too. We’ll be bringing a 2004 SAAB 9-5 Arc from the dealership. Here’s hoping we can make a difference.
Good luck and thanks for your good work!
It is a little bit to far to go to Detroit for me but I will follow you on the Internet.
As a Saab fan for 50 years there is only one way to go on. A new owner for Saab!
Greetings from Scania in the southern part of Sweden

I wish I could go to the rally tomorrow, but I am in California. Any other way of sending/showing support?
I would be coming in from Des Moines with a 2003 Saab 9-3 Arc. What is the address of GM HQ? I have not been to Detroit before.
I would love to go to Detroit to help save Saab but can’t. Please publish if there is something else we can do. I LOVE my Saab and don’t want it to be my last.
Best wishes Ryan and all in the Saab community who will gather in Detroit tomorrow! Here’s to your sending a great message and support for the car that really communicates back and makes driving a part of who we are.
Save Saab!

Ryan, best of luck for tomorrow. I think the time to act is now and we all hope that this time next week Saab will be alive and kicking with Spyker/Merbanco.
Ryan…heres for a good turnout! I wish I and THE turbodiesel could be there but the drive and Tuesday are sad realities.
The picture is also a sad reality. A great-looking SC…in CANADA! The people in those towers want to do NOTHING but make beige automotive spackle as profitablely as possible. They would rather crush Saab/imagination (ie NOT sell) than ultimately have to compete with Saab. Hopefully, the Swedes, financiers and US can prevail.
