10 More Days Until Saab Spyker Deal Closes

There are 10 more days until the Saab Spyker deal closes, and if you have noticed this week, I’ve been intentionally keeping the pace slower reflecting the sensitivity of the deal.
We’ve all been through quite a year following the ongoing Saab saga and if you’re like me, you’ve had it with negative news (which the Swedish Press are up to again), and just want the deal to close. I’m also willing to guess that you also want positive news both leading up to and immediately following the deal to be inspiring, confident, honest and clear about the future of Saab.
These have been unprecedented times for Saab and I think it’s a good time to only focus on the positive. As I said before, between now and the time that the deal closes, I’m holding back from providing frequent content as there will be a good time for that soon. However, I will be providing more material between now and then, but it will be very selective and limited.
Moving forward, there will be good things to come for Saab that are just around the corner and likewise here at Saab History as I have been working around the clock to prepare some new and exciting features that I am sure you will enjoy.
Stay tuned and please be patient until this deal closes.

I wish the Swedish media had your common sense. They seem to be trying every which way to sabotage the deal. I don’t get it. Fortunately, it’s looking like all the ducks are in order.
Here’s hoping for a new logo reflecting saab/spyker, as in the past with saab/scania.
The biggest achievement in marketing and presentation for Saab going forward these next 10 years…. logos that do not fade or wash off. I’d say more than half of saabs I see have logos completely faded off; the round ones on the hood and trunk. NO more stickers please! Let’s have a company that can reflect it’s solid stature in it’s logos as well.
Spyker we need your help!
And no more rusting wheel studs, and disintigrating shark fin aerials.Hard to understand they were never corrected on the
95.
I regularly drive in New England and in Washington, D.C. and always see an extraordinary number of SAABS. No need to say anything more…SAAB speaks for itself…….
Cant understand why they took so long to sort out the sludge
problem in the 95 engine. I had two engine replacements at
100K in spite of oil changes every 5k by Saab.I also couldnt
understand failure of the ignition cassette which occured suddenly
without warning.ie drives home perfectly at night and fails to start next morning.
