Only a few days has passed since I posted the Saab Sighting of the Week taken place at Saab’s U.S. parts facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and I wondered if the sign would be cleaned up there and restored.

“Ask and thou shall receive”. Today, Saab History has received from the folks at the facility, an updated photo showing their restored sign and area reaffirming a continuation of the 18+ years (1992-Present) that this facility has been in operation. It’s interesting to note, but this facility may break the record in a few years set by the former Saab USA facility in Orange, Connecticut (1971-1992) as the longest serving facility in Saab’s U.S. history.

A thank you to the folks at the Saab Cars North America parts facility for providing the updated photo.

I sure hope that during the transition to the new relationship with Spyker, that supply of parts will continue to be prompt and efficient.

GREAT customer service is the key to the phoenix rising from the ashes.

Glad to see the old sign has been rehabilitated. I’ll have to take more pics on the way back from Carlisle again this year.
