Hmm…..the photo looks really distorted. I am skeptical if it is the real thing. And if it is, it is almost impossible to tell what it DOES actually look like.

Hopefully it won’t look like this photo- it’s completely out of perspective.

A bit less inclination and we’re there again; at the hatch. Go Saab! I like that the car has no roof rails.

The Saab DOES have roof rails..! You can see them in the (fake) picture…

One big difference from the test mule is the addition of a flush mounted roof rack. Let’s hope that Saab doesn’t make the same mistake that Subaru made with the latest iteration of the US Outback. Many estate drives in the US market want to carry things on the roof. Subaru limited the options with their new roof rack. I am sure Saab can touch base with Thule and get it right. Kayaks, ski boxes, bikes, surf boards and even a couple of 2x4s.

Not a moment too soon. Wagons are now the hotest item. Look at Mercedes, Audi and BMW. It will probably have more room than an SUV to boot.

Hatchbacks are hot too. Audi even.

It looks hot. @Peter – you’re right about wagons. They definitely are in, and it’s good to see SAAB getting one to market in the 9-5 segment.
